Morgan’s work is based on the concepts of imagination and discovery. By combining outside inspirations such as film, photography, fashion, and writings, she aims to create a space and an environment that is unique; one that magically evolves as entirely different from its starting point; one that is perhaps bizarre, only existing in the mind or the heart. Through specific movement and gestures, as well as grand sweeping movement, she searches for ways to surprise and satisfy. So that the viewer is curious; so that they cannot quite put their finger on what the dancers are doing, or exactly where they are, but nonetheless feel included and can sense exactly what is going on. Morgan hopes to create environments that are similar to the worlds and stories you create when you are a child; that you completely understand, but cannot describe.
